Spreading Joy at the Holidays!
The biggest fundraising drive during our Rotary year is our Gifts of Hope Program. This drive is conducted during November and December each year although donations are accepted year-round. Proceeds benefit Sharon residents in need during the holiday season and throughout the year. Sharon Rotary has proudly run the Gifts of Hope Program for over 30 years!

Improving Access for School-Age Children
The Rotary Club of Sharon is proud to be a sponsor for the non-profit organization Matanya's Hope in rural Kenya where children are in need of basics that most of us take for granted - such as nourishment to help them attend school each day. In 2024, our club provided funding for the construction of a storage kitchen shelter at Nkasioki Primary School, a structure necessary to prepare a nutrient-rich meal for children who might otherwise be unable to participate at school because of hunger.
In addition, in 2024 our club provided funding to cover the cost of wheelchairs for two school-age children, facilitating their attendance at Nkosioki Primary School.
The Rotary Club of Sharon thanks local Sharon High School student Neil Dutta for his presentation to our club describing his involvement with Matanya's Hope, for outlining the ways that our club could bring an immediate and positive impact, and for embodying Rotary's "Service Above Self!" ethos in the global community.
