Make a difference
In 2011 the Sharon Rotary Board of Directors created a 501(c)3 qualified to accept deductible charitable donations. With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world. Your charitable donations:
- Foster and promote education and literacy, health and welfare, on a local, regional, national and international level.
- Alleviate poverty, hunger and disease, in the community of Sharon, Massachusetts, and beyond, and
- Encourage world peace by carrying out and supporting programs which seek to resolve international conflict, and which support the corporation's other philanthropic or charitable goals around the world.
Where do our donations go?
When you give to The Rotary Club of Sharon Charitable Fund, you fuel our service projects with tax deductible dollars - projects chosen by those with direct connections to our community.
- Gifts of Hope - our flagship fund which provides assistance to those in need and alleviates poverty within our own community.
- Youth - Providing leadership opportunities, scholarships and other activities which target youth in our community
- General - Provides funding for all the other great things we do in Rotary, including international projects.
- We also teamed up with the Sharon Lions Club to create an account to fund events in Sharon which highlight the unique Diversity of our community.

- General donations may be sent to the Rotary Club of Sharon Charitable Fund, Inc. at PO Box 52, Sharon, MA 02067
- Gifts of Hope donations should also be sent to the Rotary Club of Sharon Charitable Fund, Inc., at PO Box 52, Sharon, MA 02067. Please write "Gifts of Hope" in the memo section of the check.
- Restricted Gifts are subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees.
